"Photography Circle" seminars are officially organised by "Photohoros" and fall into three categories:

1. The first category is Photography seminars, which may be general or specific, creative or technical and which may be taught by the founder of the "Circle" Platon Rivellis or by some other Greek or foreign lecturer.

2. The second category, which was added to the "Circle's" activities in 2001, is Film seminars, with the content focusing purely on art, taught primarily by Platon Rivellis, but also by other invited lecturers.

3. The third category comprises of the Various seminars which touch on other creative fields such as art, music or poetry and which are taught by specialist artists and theoreticians.

The seminar Program is constantly being enriched.  A seminar may be added after the year's program has been announced.

The cost of seminars in Syros always includes beverages and refreshments available during the breaks.  Participants must however allow for the additional cost of board and lodging (with the exception of the four-day film  seminars)

All seminars are open to "Circle" members and non-members, as long as they are interested in photography or more generally in art, irrespective of whether or not they are already active in the field.
